Dumka the elephant — a friendly mascot who never forgets a thing

Dumka is a beautiful, lightweight flashcards app for iPhone. Named after a little elephant who never forgets, it makes remembering feel light: flip a card, swipe to say whether you knew it, and Dumka quietly slides it back into view right before it would slip your mind. Learn a language, prep for an exam, or just hold on to the things you love — a few calm minutes a day is plenty.

Spaced Repetition That Works

Under the hood, Dumka schedules every card with the proven SM-2 algorithm. A card you know comes back later and less often; a card you miss returns tomorrow. Nothing is ever really "done" — it's how things actually stick, without late-night cramming.

Grade With a Swipe

Reveal the answer, then flick the card to one of four corners to grade your recall — Again, Hard, Good, or Easy. Each level grows the interval a little more. Prefer buttons? Tap instead. Studying feels like play, not a chore.

Colorful Decks

Sort your cards into bright, tidy decks — one for Spanish, one for that exam, one for the things you just want to keep. Everything stays organized and easy to find.

Build Decks in Seconds

Add photos to your cards, or paste a plain list and turn it into a full deck in seconds. Getting started is effortless, so you spend your time remembering, not setting up.

Keep Your Streak

Friendly little reminders nudge you back for a few cards a day, so your streak — and your memory — stays alive. Calm, never nagging.

Private & Offline

Your cards live on your device and nowhere else. No account, no cloud, no tracking. Dumka works entirely offline — simple, pretty, and completely yours.

What is Dumka?
Dumka is a lightweight flashcards app for iPhone built around spaced repetition. You create cards, reveal the answer, then grade your recall — and the app schedules each card to reappear right before you'd forget it.
How does spaced repetition work in Dumka?
After you reveal a card, you grade how well you remembered it on four levels: Again, Hard, Good, or Easy. Dumka uses the SM-2 algorithm to grow the interval before that card returns. Cards you know come back less and less often; cards you miss come back sooner.
How do I grade a card?
Flick the card toward one of four corners — up-left for Again, up-right for Hard, down-left for Good, down-right for Easy — or simply tap the matching button. Whichever feels faster.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your cards live entirely on your device. There's no account, no cloud sync, and no tracking. Dumka works fully offline.
What iPhone do I need?
Dumka is a native iOS app that runs on iPhone with iOS 18 or later. It's built with SwiftUI and features Apple's Liquid Glass design.
When is Dumka available?
Dumka is coming soon to the App Store. Check back here for the download link.
